The US Constitution reminds us that we agreed: “No person shall… be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law…. nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty or property without due process of law; nor deny any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
Again, the Pennsylvania Constitution reiterates in Section 1 . Inherent Rights of Mankind
All men are born equally free and independent, and have certain inherent and indefeasible rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, of acquiring, possessing and protecting property and reputation, and of pursuing their own happiness.
Have we forgotten who people are? No, person-hood begins when a person is conceived. Life is a gift from God and it belongs to Him. It would be morally wrong to take human life outside of God’s will. Both Old and New Testaments are explicit in God’s commands on this issue.
How then can government make legal what God has made immoral? That is one thing I don’t understand. Unless we have politicians that do not fear God we should be a Commonwealth that is pro-life, just like our Constitutions say that we are.
